## How a house number is calculated

1. Add the digits of the number: 1247 is 1 + 2 + 4 + 7 = 14.
2. Add any letter with its Pythagorean value: "12B" is 1 + 2 + 2 (B) = 5.
3. Reduce the total to one digit: 14 becomes **5**.

For an apartment, use the apartment's own number, not the building's: that is the number on your front door.
