# Life Cycle numbers calculator

Numerology divides life into three long Life Cycles: youth, the productive middle years and maturity. Enter your date of birth to get the number of each, the ages it covers, and the one you are in.

## How the Life Cycles are calculated

Each Life Cycle comes from one part of your date of birth, reduced by adding its digits and keeping master numbers:

| Life Cycle | Comes from | Ages |
|---|---|---|
| First, formative | Your birth month | Birth to 36 minus your Life Path |
| Second, productive | Your birth day | The next 27 years |
| Third, harvest | Your birth year | The rest of your life |

For a Life Path of 7, the cycles run from 0 to 29, 30 to 56, and 57 onwards.

## What the Life Cycles describe

The first cycle is the environment you grow up in, the second the work and relationships of your adult years, and the third what you harvest and pass on. Each is a background influence; the [Pinnacles](/pinnacle-numbers-calculator) describe the shorter periods inside them.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do the Life Cycles and Pinnacles start at the same time?

The first Life Cycle and the first Pinnacle end at the same age, 36 minus your Life Path. After that, the Life Cycles are longer: 27 years for the second, against nine for each middle Pinnacle.

### Can a Life Cycle be a master number?

Yes. A birth in November (11), on the 11th, 22nd or 29th, or in a year that reduces to 11, 22 or 33 gives a master Life Cycle.

### Which Life Cycle am I in?

The calculator shows it first, from your age today.
