# Wedding date numerology calculator

Couples often choose a wedding date by its numerology number. Enter any date, past or future, to get its number and the day's own number.

## How a date's number is calculated

A date is reduced the same way as a [Life Path](/life-path-number-calculator):

1. Reduce the month, the day and the year separately, keeping 11, 22 and 33.
2. Add the three and reduce again, keeping master numbers.

For 14 June 2027: June is 6, the 14th is 5 (1 + 4), and 2027 is 11 (2 + 0 + 2 + 7), a master number kept as it is. 6 + 5 + 11 = **22**, a master number.

The **day number** is the day of the month alone, reduced the same way.

## Which numbers suit a wedding

| Number | The marriage it suggests |
|---|---|
| 2 | Partnership and harmony, the classic wedding number |
| 6 | Love, family and home, the other favourite |
| 3 | Joy and a lively celebration |
| 9 | Deep commitment and compassion |
| 11, 22 | A shared vision; 22 for building a life together |
| 1, 5, 7 | Independence, freedom or reflection: less traditional choices |

Many couples also look for a date whose number matches or complements their own Life Paths. The [compatibility calculator](/numerology-compatibility-calculator) shows how two numbers read together.
