Generate a client from OpenAPI 3.1
The full contract is published at /openapi.json: every endpoint, request body, response field and error. Feed it to a generator such as openapi-generator to get a typed client:
npx @openapitools/openapi-generator-cli generate \
-i https://simplenumerologyapi.com/openapi.json \
-g go -o ./numerology-client
Swap -g go for java, csharp, php, ruby, swift5, kotlin, rust, typescript-fetch or python. For TypeScript types alone, openapi-typescript produces a single .d.ts file from the same document.
Or skip the SDK
Most apps don’t need one. The API is one POST with a JSON body and an X-API-Key header:
curl -X POST https://simplenumerologyapi.com/v1/charts/pythagorean \
-H 'X-API-Key: nk_…' \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"first_name":"María","middle_name":"Stefania",
"last_name":"García López","birthdate":"1990-03-12"}'
The quickstarts show the same request in Python and JavaScript, and the landing page has it in Go.
What a good client should handle
Whether you generate one or write your own, handle these:
- Retries: retry
429,500,502,503and504with jittered backoff, and wait forRetry-Afterwhen it is sent. Charts are pure computations, so retrying is always safe. - Errors: every error has the same shape, with
type, a stablecode, the offendingparamand arequest_id. - Quota: read
X-Quota-RemainingandX-Quota-Resetfrom any response. A402means the quota is used up. - Versioning: send a
Numerology-Versionheader to pin the API version, so a future change never reaches you unannounced. - Master numbers: number fields can be 11, 22 or 33, so don’t type them as a single digit.
Postman collection
Import the Postman collection to try each endpoint with your key before writing code. The interactive schema browser can also send requests from the page.
MCP server for AI agents
An MCP server exposes the same charts as tools, so Claude and other MCP-compatible agents can compute a numerology chart directly.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a numerology SDK?
The API publishes an OpenAPI 3.1 document, so you can generate a typed SDK in almost any language with openapi-generator. For most apps, a plain HTTP call is simpler.
How do I use the numerology API from Go, PHP, Ruby or Java?
Either call the REST endpoint directly (one POST with JSON) or generate a typed client from the OpenAPI 3.1 document at /openapi.json.
Is the OpenAPI spec free to use?
Yes. The spec, the Postman collection and the schema browser are public. API usage is billed by plan, and the free plan includes 100 charts a month.
