How the score is calculated

Each person’s chart is calculated first. Then the calculator compares pairs of numbers and scores each pair on a table of how numerology reads them together:

Pair Weight
Life Path and Life Path 30%
Expression and Expression 20%
Soul Urge and Soul Urge 15%
One person’s Soul Urge and the other’s Personality, both ways 15%
One person’s Life Path and the other’s Expression, both ways 10%
Personality and Personality 5%
Birthday and Birthday 5%

Each pair scores from 20 (two numbers that clash, such as 1 and 8, which both want to lead) to 90 (numbers in the same natural group). When both numbers of a pair are master numbers, the pair scores 10 more. The weighted average is the score, and the rating follows from it: strong from 75, good from 60, mixed from 45, and challenging below.

Reading the result

A score is a summary, not a verdict. Two people with a “mixed” score can have one strong pair, such as matching Life Paths, that matters more to them than the rest. Start with the two Life Path numbers, which carry the most weight, and read what each one means.

Frequently asked questions

Which numbers matter most for compatibility?

The Life Path, which carries 30% of the score, then the Expression and the Soul Urge. Comparing Life Path numbers alone is the quick version most compatibility charts use.

Are any Life Path numbers incompatible?

No pair is ruled out. Some pairs are read as harder work, such as 1 and 8 (two leaders) or 4 and 5 (stability against freedom), but numerology treats them as challenges rather than prohibitions.

Can I use this for friends or business partners?

Yes. The calculation is the same for any two people. Only the reading of it changes.
