How the Personal Month is calculated
- Calculate your Personal Year: your birth month and birth day, each reduced to one digit, plus the current year reduced to one digit, all reduced again.
- Add the current month, reduced to one digit (November, 11, is 2).
- Reduce the total to one digit, from 1 to 9.
For a Personal Year of 5 in October: 5 + 1 = 6.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Personal Month start on the 1st?
Yes. Personal Months follow the calendar month, and Personal Years follow the calendar year from 1 January.
Are master numbers kept in the Personal Month?
No. Cycle numbers count where you are in a cycle of nine, so they are always reduced to one digit.
How is the Personal Month different from the Personal Year?
The Personal Year sets the theme for the whole year. The Personal Month is a shorter cycle inside it, and the Personal Day is shorter still.
